   CHINESE airlines are being forced to rearrange their seating to accommodate a rising number of overweight passengers, but risk their profits into the bargain.

China Eastern Airlines is reported to have imported all its aircraft from the West, where people were generally bigger, but the company planned to reduce by about 20 the number of seats on the new Airbus 321 to enlarge the bottom-line seating space.

GERMAN drugs maker Schering has issued a warning to customers not to use haemorrhoid cream on their faces.

The warning came after a male stylist said on Norwegian television that many photo models used the cream in the morning to get rid of puffy eyes, which the drug company said seemed to have boosted demand for such products at pharmacies.

A COUPLE caught having sex in a mosque during Ramadan have been jailed for 18 months for what the judge called an "abominable" affront to religion.

Peter Kimani and Jennifer Wairimu pleaded guilty to having sex in a place of worship after being caught on October 3 at the Abubakar mosque in Gilgil, about 100 km north of Nairobi, Kenya. Neither is a Muslim.

 An armed gang burst into a bar in Mexico and flung five human heads onto a crowded dance floor, in an apparent warning to a rival drug gang.


Up to 20 men entered the bar in Uruapan city, Michoacan state, fired into the air, forced revellers to lie down and then threw down five heads.
