Bodrum Dance Fest revealed

THE 18th International Bodrum Dance Festival will be held from May 23-28, with a host of local and international perfomers penned in to attend.

It is one of Europe’s biggest dance festivals on the UNESCO cultural events list.

The festival, which started as a local event years ago and is organized by Bodrum Municipality and organized by the Bodrum Dance Club.

Last year, 1,242 dancers from dozens of countries participated in the festival’s events.

UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), is also taking part in cultural events and renewing the use of the logo each year. This is the biggest dance festival in Europe.

The Salsa final competitions of TDSF clubs are held in Bodrum in the festival, which is also supported by the Turkish Dance Sports Federation. More than 700 athletes from all over Turkey and more than 2 athletes are coming to Bodrum for these competitions.

The festival committee has 32 volunteers from 21 countries. These volunteers come to Bodrum 45 days before the festival and show an unprecedented joint work.

The festival is also supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as well as the EU Ministry.

Tuesday May 23:

Wednesday May 24:

20.00 – Performances of children dance groups – Bodrum Castle (1)

Thursday May 25:

20.00 – Performances of children dance groups – Bodrum Castle (2)

Friday May 26:

19.00 – Parade of Guest Countries with their Traditional Costumes (Halikarnas – Bodrum Castle)

20.00 – Performances of Guest Country Dance Groups and Turkish Groups – Bodrum Castle (3)

23.00 – Latin After Party – (Catamaran Night Club)

Saturday May 27:

11: SALSA dance league champs B.B. Binnaz Karakaya sports hall

21.30 – Latin After Party – (Catamaran Night Club)

Sunday May 28:

11:00 – Latin Dance league championship B.B. Binnaz Karakaya sports hall
