If you’re waiting on cargo from abroad while living in Turkey, then get set for a bit of bad news.

The customs exception charge has been reduced from the current 30 Euros to just 22 Euros.

So if you have valuable cargo coming in from abroad and for personal use that is worth more than 22 Euros then be prepared to face a customs charge.

The cargo exemption charge was reduced from 75 Euros in December 2016 down to 30 Euros.

That Offical Gazette has today stated that this threshold has now been reduced to 22 Euros.
