Foreign residents invited to ‘Harmonization Workshop’

AN invitation has been extended to foreign residents to attend a ‘Harmonization Workshop’ on Thursday February 18 in Aydin, hosted by the Ministry of Migration Management.

The workshop is one of the initiatives that was promised by the Directorate General of Migration Management – the unit that largely deals with, but not exclusively, with residence permits – when it was newly formed.

AYDINENGThe Feb 18 meeting, which will run from 1pm to 3.30pm, will be hosted at Aydin’s Adnan Menderes University, Ataturk Congress Centre, in the Magnesia Room.

The schedule will include a presentation of public services to foreigners living in Aydin, including the SGK, the provincial directorate of Culture and Tourism and the directorate of ISKUR that deals with work permits.

There will also be a talk from the Turkish Red Crescent and Directorate of Health Care Services.

The talks will be segued with student performances and an introduction to the Turkish art form of marbling.
