IMMIGRATION administration offices are to open in Didim, Kusadasi, Bodrum, Fethiye and Marmaris, the Council of Ministers have said.

In today’s issue of the Official Gazette, a decision has been issued by the Council of Ministers on the establishment of 16 new district immigration administration offices.

According to this, the offices will be established under the provincial organization of the General Directorate of Immigration.

The Ministry of the Interior said the decision was taken by Ministers on February 19.

The full details of how this may affect the populace has still to be announced, but it is envisaged that services will become more localised.
