As full-scale domestic and international efforts continue across earthquake-stricken Southeastern Turkey, Voices Newspaper has stepped up and donated 25,000 TL to help the people affected by the disaster.

Hasan Bayrak, the founder of Voices and its sister company Realty World, said he and his staff had been moved by the many images and videos and stories coming out of the massive rescue operation to donate along with many others.

He urged the Didim community to donate money directly or donate aid items, such as blankets, diapers, baby food, winter clothes and boots, to Didim Central Mosque, the Cemevi centre or Didim Municipality.

Our readers outside of Didim can also deliver aid to the municipalities where they are located. 

Voices has donated 10,000 TL to the AHBAP Association, which is an association approved by the Ministry of Interior for those who want to send donations. It works in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency and delivers aid materials to the earthquake area. 

AHBAP currently wants to buy 10,000 container houses for the homeless in the earthquake area. This is very important because right now, millions of people are on the streets at -5 degrees. 

Hasan is also the Vice President of Didim Sport. Didim Sport is also organizing a campaign to purchase coats and boots to be sent to the earthquake area. So he has also transferred 15,000 TL to Didim Sport’s to buy clothes and deliver them to the municipality.
