Didim American Culture Language School is marking 20th anniversary with a special community initiative.
As of July 20, the school will offer free Turkish language lessons to the first 100 applicants as part of its two-decade anniversary celebrations.
The initiative aims to help newcomers improve their Turkish language skills, integrate more easily into local life, and build stronger connections within the community. As Didim continues to welcome residents and visitors from around the world, the ability to communicate in Turkish plays an important role in everyday life, social interaction, and cultural understanding.
Founded by Engin Eviz, the institution’s journey began in 2007 under the name Didem Academy and later continued as Ata Academy. Throughout the years, it has played an active role in language education and cultural exchange in Didim, helping students of all ages achieve their educational and personal goals.
In 2023, the school joined forces with American Culture, one of Türkiye’s largest and most established language school brands, further strengthening its educational resources, academic expertise, and commitment to quality language training.
Over the years, the institution has gone beyond traditional language education by developing projects that encouraged real-life language practice and cultural interaction. Among these initiatives was a host family program that connected students with British families living in Didim, providing valuable opportunities to improve communication skills and gain cultural experience. The school has also taught Turkish to hundreds of English-speaking residents, helping them adapt more easily to life in the local community.
Today, Didim American Culture Language School continues to offer language programs for learners of all ages and levels while maintaining its dedication to professional, student-focused education.
