Irish pop-synth artist Chelle is back with a new evocative single ‘Same Blue Sky’ – in direct homage to her experiences and connections with Kuşadası and Turkiye.
The independent singer-songwriter says the new track holds a “very special place in my heart” having spent significant time in Turkiye and even learning the language.
It even includes a cheeky bilingual nod to Turkish culture in the lyrics – “Eyes glazed from the beyaz wine”— incorporating beyaz (white) to capture the exact atmosphere and memory behind the song.
Dublin and Kildare-based Chelle is fast building an expanding listener base as she is known for blending dark pop, 80s synth
elements, and emotive storytelling. Her debut single Kiss Me Again included a fantastic remix by Kuşadası’s own DJ Umut Baycu.
Same Blue Sky was recorded at Bluebird Studios alongside producer Declan Lonergan, It blends lush atmospheric textures, driving 80s synth-pop energy, and cinematic melodies. The track explores themes of connection, distance, and shared human experience, framed through Chelle’s signature evocative songwriting and rich vocal performance.
The track, which is out this week, captures an infectious retro-modern feel while highlighting her growth as an independent artist shaping her own sonic identity
The new release follows strong momentum from earlier tracks, Irish commercial radio airplay, and back-to-back support from
Hot Press and Dublin City FM.
Beyond being handpicked for BBC Music Introducing, her music has secured high rotation across international radio, high-profile Irish radio, and widespread press coverage including Extra.ie, Hot Press, and The Echo.
Her releases have also been championed by EARMILK as an “international rising star,” alongside glowing features from Illustrate Magazine, Indiedock Music Blog, CLOUT, and Plastic Magazine.
Chelle is planning to complete more singles, all leading towards her debut EP. Alongside that, she is putting together a full live show with visuals and a band that captures the energy of the recordings.
