Didim’s new five-star hotel takes shape for 2026 opening

A new five-star hotel will bring additional luxury holiday choices when it opens to the public next year.

Potentially opening in April 2026, the Akra Didim Hotel project will rise on a 278,214 square meter land area, at Fevzipaşa between Didim and Akbuk.

Designed specifically for racket sports enthusiasts, Akra Rackets Club makes sports a part of your holiday with five padel, eight pickleball, and two tennis courts that meet ITF, FIP, and USA Pickleball standards, expert instructors, and a dynamic atmosphere. Offering a wide range of equipment from mini rackets to professional equipment, the club caters to all ages and skill levels with social tournaments, special training programs, and safe play areas specifically for children.

Akra Didim offers a pool and beach experience for everyone looking to relax or recharge, creating separate areas for families and adults. It diversifies the pleasure of swimming with sea and freshwater options. The specially designed water park offers fun for guests of all ages. Heated pool options ensure comfortable use throughout the year. Both indoor and outdoor areas offer the joy of water all year round.

Akra Didim combines the rich cuisine of the Aegean with modern interpretations. The Arasta open buffet combines local and international flavors. A la carte options, from Ocakbaşı to Clam & Co., Ocean to Tane and Bafa restaurants, cater to a variety of tastes. The Beach Bar, Jazz Bar, and more offer music, conversation, and enjoyment all in one place.

At the 1,800-square-meter Sarnıç Spa & Wellness Center, treatments such as traditional Turkish bath, thalassotherapy, Watsu, Vichy shower, and Kneipp are integrated into personalized care programs. Vitality therapies support physical and mental balance, and a nature-inspired wellness approach accompanies you every moment. According to the reports, Akra Didim’s room distribution will be as follows:

– Adults Villas (63 rooms)
– Pavilion Village Family (58 rooms)
– Holiday Village Long Stay (92 rooms)

The hotel project is being implemented in line with the Ecological Aegean Village architecture that is in harmony with the historical and cultural structure of the region. The culture and art village buildings planned for children and their families in Akra Didim will also be produced entirely with ecological materials.

Akra Didim, which will provide service 12 months a year, is planned to employ 1,000 people during the construction period and 600 personnel during the operation period.

The cost of the project has been put in the region of 2.7 billion Turkish Liras.
