A signing ceremony held at the Aydın Provincial Health Directorate will bring a significant healthcare investment to the Didim district.

A protocol was signed for the Family Health Centre and 112 Emergency Health Services Station, to be built by philanthropists Hayati Döşemetaşan and Levent Ataş on property designated as a healthcare area in the Fevzipaşa neighborhood.

Following a protocol signed between the Aydın Governor’s Office, the Aydın Provincial Health Directorate, and philanthropists, the property in question will be allocated to the Ministry of Health free of charge and indefinitely.

Upon completion, the facility will serve citizens under the name “Fevzipaşa Family Health Center.”

The signing ceremony was held at the Aydın Provincial Health Directorate building. Attendees included Aydın Provincial Health Director Dr. Eser Şenkul, AK Party Didim District Chairman Sebahattin Akkuş, Fevzipaşa Neighborhood Headman Ali Osman Çolak, Public Health Director, Support Services Director, Public Health Deputy Directors, and Didim District Health Director Specialist Dr. Gökçe Dağtekin.

The new facility will significantly improve access to healthcare for residents of Fevzipaşa, one of Didim’s rapidly growing neighborhoods.

The Family Health Centre will provide more effective and closer access to essential healthcare services, while the 112 Emergency Health Services Station will provide rapid response in emergencies.

Aydın Provincial Health Director Dr. Eser Şenkul thanked Döşemetaş and Ataş for their contributions to healthcare investments, saying: “These investments, implemented to provide our citizens with better healthcare services, are one of the finest examples of public-philanthropic collaboration.

“We believe that the Fevzipaşa Family Health Centre and 112 Emergency Health Services Station will serve the people of Didim for many years to come. We extend our gratitude to everyone involved.”

The project, which will significantly contribute to strengthening Didim’s healthcare infrastructure, will provide security for both the district’s existing population and the visitors who flock to Didim during the summer months due to increased tourism activity.

The new facility is expected to be completed and operational shortly.
