Didim Resident Publishes First Children’s Book About Stray Dogs

Update

MAXIMILIAN Sam, a British resident living in Didim, is to publish his first children’s book “It’s A Stray Dog’s Life” on Monday, February 28.

The children’s book focuses on the lives of three stray dogs – Princess, Buster and Snowy – as they interact with humans and other animals and follows them through their many adventures.

The stories show how dogs and humans have to learn basic rules of behaviour such as everyone being different, bullying is wrong and being crazy is good up to a point!

“It’s A Stray Dog’s Life” is split in three sections with each dog having its own story to tell. Each section consists of seven chapters of equal length making them perfect for the ‘chapter before bedtime’ reading experience for both children and parents (or grandparents). It is also a helpful tool for those improving their English in a fun way.

Maximilian Sam, from Sagtur, said, “All the dogs in the book exist. Princess currently lives in a tent in my garden with two cats she appears to have adopted.

“The stray dogs around Didim have given me so much pleasure over the years that it feels a true honour to be able to tell their stories to the wider world. It’s also my first book so will always be very special to me.”
