Update

EASTER Sunday saw hundreds of people turn out for the annual Easter activities on Altinkum beach front.

Didim Help in Hands organised several activities for children and adults at Big Ben’s Restaurant – the scene that was traditionally used for Easter activities when they were run by Gordon and Ros Beveridge.

There was a raffle and activities including an egg and spoon race, Easter bonnet competition, egg painting competition, a three legged race and hunt the Easter egg.

The activities drew in excited children, Turkish and foreign, from the community.

The day helped to raise more than 400TL for Help in Hands.
