Update

A FULL house was the order of the day as the members of the Didim Glee Club performed their new murder mystery play.

Club members presented the play ”Digging up the Past”, written by Jay Jackson, at the Blue Restaurant, at Yesilkent, on Friday May 30.

The play, set in 1929, featured an archaeological reunion held in Didim. During the course of the play a trail of clues was given about a murder committed some years previous. These clues enabled the audience to take a guess at whodunit!

All proceeds from the evening were donated to Türkiye Sosyal Yardimlaşma Derneği, a nationwide association, who deal with various social projects within their local areas.

The Glee Club will be presenting the same play at Olivia Restaurant in Akbuk on Thursday June 12. There will be a different ending for all the budding sleuths out there!

Please be there for 19.00 for a 19.30 start. Tickets cost 15TL including supper, and are available from Olivia’s, Glee Club members or contact Mary on 0554 696 0339.  All proceeds will be donated to AKUT Search and Rescue Association.
