POLICE are investigating an attack on a British woman close to the Didim Luna Park which left her with a wound to her neck.

The woman was said to have been attacked by assailants at about 5am on August 18, close to the Pine Woods, close to Aytepe.

The victim was able to fight offer her attackers and the police were called. She was taken to hospital for treatment to wounds to her leg and neck.

The incident is being treated as an attempt rape.
