STREET dogs are understood to have attacked a young woman in the Yeni Mahalle district of Didim.

An ambulance was called to offer assistance to the woman after the incident on Sokak 818.

Mavi Didim reported that as the girl screamed during the incident, neighbours came to her assistance.

She briefly fainted after the incident and 112 emergency services responded. She is said to be in good health.

Mavi Didim said citizens in the neighbourhood had called on the authorities to act on the issue.
