TALKS are underway to set up a ferry connection between Didim and Kos and Leros.

Didim Mayor Deniz Atabay hosted a delegation of officials from Leros last Friday at the start of bilateral talks to improve ties between the Greek island and the resort.

Mr Atabay said the talks were aimed at establishing common themes.

One such aim was establishing a ferry connection between Didim and Leros from May 2015, he added.

Further talks are expected over the winter period.
