Update

DIDIM Council has reported a number of activities and ongoing works within the town, so we decided to wrap them up in one article for you.

Didim Mayor Deniz Atabay travelled to Kos last week to build up further ties with the Greek island and with a view to encouraging further tourism links between Didim and Kos.

Mr Atabay was also busy overseeing the laying of cobblestones on roads across the city centre, Akbuk, as well as Hunters Valley and Second Beach, and expressed satisfaction with the work so far.

Aydin Provincial Council has rubber-stamped Didim’s budget for the next 12 months. It will be 77 million. This is dwarfed by Kusadasi’s budget of 110 million TL, but is bigger than Soke’s 68 million TL.

Aydin Metropolitan Municipality Science Affairs Directorate of Road Construction and Maintenance work continues unabated.

The Science Affairs Department’s Road Construction and Maintenance Department said it had carried out 165,500 sqm of road laying and repairs across the county, to the tune of 7.5 million TL.

Aydin Province confirmed that Didim would benefit from road repairs during the winter.
