Teachers urged to fight drug abuse among children

TEACHERS in Didim have attended a seminar that outlined ways to identify drug and substance abuse among school children.

Voices readers earlier raised this year concerns about glue-sniffing among some teens and the affect it is having on their interaction with friends, family and the wider community  

Didim District Directorate of Education is now hosting a number of training seminars for school principals and teachers in order to detect and prevent drugs and drug abuse in school-age children.

The seminar was also addressed by state hospital and education officials
