Warmer clothes for 2,000 poor families

UP to 2,000 poor families in Didim will be warmer this winter – thanks to a major donation from the LC Waikiki fashion store.

Some 15,000 articles of clothing have been delivered to the Didim Soccial Assistance and Solidarity Foundation to be distributed to needy citizens in the area.

Didim Governor Iskender Yonden, who was on hand to accept the donation, said: “The consignment includes jackets, trousers, shoes and sweaters for men, women and children.

“I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to LC Waikiki for their donation and sensiticity at this time, The donation of clothing will benefit about 2,000 families who are in need Didim.”
