Man’s body recovered

The body of a man, Ahmet Cinar (61) was recovered from a property at Medusa Village 1 complex, in Sokak 2257, Hisar district in Didim.

Didim police are now investigating the death and a post mortem is underway.

Electric bill shocker

A SINGLE Turkish man, Yildiray Çamlı (61), was handed a bill for 302TL for 45 days – yet he claims he wasn’t even there at his property in Didim!

Aydem have told him to pay it or face being cut off. He has petitioned them for a review of his meter.

Even so, note the dates you are there at your property and read your meter, take note of the readings, go to Aydem and pay your bills. It’s a drag, but if you read and pay them monthly as we do, there is no room for error, and no room for Aydem to pickpocket your wallet

Two accidents
DIDIM’s emergency services responded to two accidents on Tuesday.

A motorcyclist came off his bike when he lost control of it on Ege Cadd, Hisar Mah., on Tuesday. Rushed to Didim State with various injuries.

A car careered off a corner at around the Denizkoy village after the Didim/Akbuk turn. It disappeared into thick shrub which broke the fall and the driver walked away with minor injuries.

Emergency services called and a police investigation under way into the accident.
