A SETTING sun, cocktails and canapés attracted scores of people to the opening of the newest restaurant on Akbuk’s Aegean Coast – Esinti Restaurant.

Created by business partners Donna Wynne and Orhan Ciftci, Esinti is set to take the dining experience by storm with a funky, edgy menu with a host of new meal ideas that will leave diners wanting to come back for more.

The Esinti Restaurant is located at the other side of Akbuk coming from Didim, and next to the Garden Restaurant, with great views of the Aegean.

As it was, last Friday’s opening saw an estimated 250 people flow into the venue to catch up with old friends, make new ones, appreciate the surroundings and dance to the superb sounds of singer, Jo Delgado.

The menu is packed with dishes to die for from sea bass fillet with fresh tomato chilli sauce and sea bream fillet with rocket, cream and white wine sauce to one of its signature dishes – a traditional African curry with unique African sides that are set your taste buds alight.

The menu also features vegetarian and gluten free options.

There was a large contingent of residents and business owners from Didim, Akbuk and Yesiltepe, as well as South Africans, German, Scandinavians, Turks, as well as Jay Hendricks, who was visiting from Brisbane, Australia, and Jenna Keser and Orlagh Keightley, from Kusadasi.

Said Donna: “We were absolutely delighted by the turnout, but importantly we attracted all nationalities and that’s what the restaurant aims to be at: offering an international clientele with a diverse quality menu range

“I have been blown away by the feedback from the diners so far and we are very encouraged. We have more plans in the pipeline with aim of making it a dining experience to remember.

“Thanks to everyone who came to our opening night and we hope to see them all again soon.”

There are plans for live music during the summer months, which Voices will keep you informed about in due course.
