Lounge Bar is a trusted name in the expat community, where you enter as a respected guest and leave as a friend.
Established for a number of years, the Lounge Bar is now headed up by Alan and Metin, both with wide experience in making your night as chilled, exciting or as friendly as you want it to be.
It is handily located on Manastir Caddesi – a road down the side of McDonald’s and A101 just off Ataturk Boulevard.
The bar serves up a new menu including pork dishes, from belly pork and gammon steak to pork chops and pork kebabs. The menu also features signature Indian dishes, as well as English, Turkish and Continental dishes. English and Turkish breakfasts are also available from 9am.

Backed up by a bang-on form menu, Efes and Tuborg being pegged back at 7TL and a fantastically laid back vibe, the Lounge Bar offers more than most in your neighbourhood.
With a no-hassle policy, the bar is quickly becoming a firm favourite among tourists and second-home owners for service that is just right, food on point and a craic of a night to remember.
Alan said: “We have been really touched by the warmth of the residents, expats and tourists who have been coming to the Lounge and saying how happy they are with the service, staff and the atmosphere in general.
“They praise us for how clean, tidy and family-friendly the bar is and the food is amazing. Importantly, they are coming back time and again.”
Diners Sue and Peter commented: “This is like our second home. We have complete trust in the staff and our first choice is always Lounge Bar. It’s clean and tidy, the staff are polite and we are treated with respect.
“The food is fantastic and it’s a nice atmosphere. Just like the lounge in your own home, it’s home away from home.”
Another expat Maureen added: “When I come to Turkey without my family, I always feel safe and secure at the bar. They make me feel a part of the family and they go the extra mile to make me comfortable.”
Alan and Metin wish to thank the new customers that have been checking out The Lounge since the start of the season and looked forward to greeting future diners. Alan said: “We feel we have a responsibility to the customer, to ensure their time and experience at the Lounge Bar is spot.
“This is a hassle free zone and our view is that the customer is always right.”
It features five television screens for summer and winter sports, while Metin has been the main chef for the last eight years, so consistency is assured. The bar also stocks Voices Newspapers on Sundays. Lounge Bar is open 8.30am till late, seven days a week.
