Havaş launches Didim-airport shuttles

TURKEY’S leading transportation company Havaşhas announced a newservice running from Budrom-Milas Airport to Didim and back – 14 times a day.

Didim becomes the company’s 31st destination, with midibus vehicles, designed for passenger and a capacity of 30 persons, being used on the shuttle services.

The company has promised to increase capacity on the route depending on demand. Ther service will continue at least until the end of the summer season.

The shuttle services of Havaş will be performed 14 times a day reciprocally between Bodrum Airport – Didim-Airport.

The cost is 25TL one-way with operating times, seven days a week, at midnight, 8am, 11am, 3pm, 6pm, 8pm and 10pm.

Havaş General Manager Kürşad Koçak said: ‘We continue providing services to more and more passengers by adding new destinations to our passenger transportation services that we provide at 19 provinces in Turkey.

“We have been providing shuttle services to our passengers between Bodrum Airport and city center since 1997 and now we are glad to include Bodrum-Milas Airport–Didim route to our network.

“I believe that we will accommodate a significant requirement by solving the transportation problem of the local and foreign tourists to Didim as well as Bodrum, which is one of Turkey’s most important cities in terms of tourism potential.”

Based in Istanbul, Havaş is the largest and the most well-established ground handling service provider in Turkey. Havaş offers ground handling solutions to more than 200 airlines at 34 stations in 4 countries throughout Turkey, Germany, Latvia and Saudi Arabia.

In addition, Havaş provides transfer and passenger transportation shuttle services between airports and city centers in 19 cities.
