A couple looking to holiday in Turkey have been ripped off for £130 on a ripoff evisa website.
The couple told Voices that they had unknowingly booked through thewww.evisaworld.com website.
Instead of being charged £13 per person, they were hammered for £65 each. They’re now making attempts to get their money back through their bank after realizing the mistake.
The only official website for evisas is www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ where an evisa costs between £13 and £14. The cost of the evisa is $20 – about £12.50 at today’s exchange rate. There is also a credit card admin charge of about £1.25.
