IF you were sweet-toothed last Saturday and at the Zebra Café, then you would have been in seventh heaven.

I was lucky to be one of three judges for the Great Didim Bake Off in aid of raising funds for the Every Need Didim group which goes towards supporting school children and their school locally.

Bakers and cake makers came forward and offered a surprising high quality of cakes, biscuits and bakes.

Jill Robinson, who is organising the appeal, said she was delighted at the response and praised everyone who had helped raise 350TL for the cause. “It was a great afternoon and the entries were scrumptious.”
