THE panto season arrived in Didim with the Pirates of the Aegean playing to packed audiences.

Members of Didim Glee Club pulled out all the stops for one of the best pantos in years.

12341631_977656392299393_7032972283435772249_nThe December 10 performance which Voices attended – a second performance was held on December 11 – was packed with incident, fluffed lines, a small power cut, and an attempt by some jolly pirates to relive the audience of a few Lira.

12311143_977656168966082_8106612872879675316_nAll the performances were exceptional, with the leads really getting into their characters, and provoking plenty of laughs from the audience.

It was refreshing to see a number of children in the audience being engaged in the panto.
