THE LOUNGE Bar is back with a bang for 2016 – and is already more popular than ever before.

So if you’re looking for a bar that serves up fabulous food, treats you like a member of the family and where you can feel safe and secure, then why not sample the delights of the Lounge Bar.

The bar is a trusted name in the expat community, where you enter as a respected guest and leave as a friend.

Over the winter, the bar has undergone a freshening up, with a new kitchen, refurbished lounge area, four TVs that can play different sports matches and programmes to suit viewers’ tastes and more staff to keep the clientele happy and smiling.

Established for many years, the Lounge is headed up again this season by Alan and Metin, both with wide experience in making your night as chilled, exciting or as friendly as you want it to be.

It is handily located on Manastir Caddesi – a road down the side of McDonald’s and A101 just off Ataturk Boulevard.

Pork and pide!

For this season, the kitchen’s chefs will be preparing some new tasty dishes, including home-made Turkish mince pide on an evening.

Along with its menu of Chinese, Indian, continental and Turkish dishes, the Lounge Bar is again serving up pork dishes from belly pork and gammon steak to pork chops and pork kebabs.

The menu also features a Lounge favourite – fish and chips, with this year’s fish of a Norwegian variety.

Chilled out vibe

Backed up by a fantastically laid back vibe, the Lounge offers more than most in your neighbourhood.

With a no-hassle policy, the bar is quickly becoming a firm favourite among tourists and second-home owners for service that is just right, food on point and a craic of a night to remember.

Alan said: “Our diners regularly praised us for the quality of the food, the prices and the cleanliness of the place. And we are maintaining that in 2016.

“We don’t do karaoke, but what we excel at is providing a great family-friendly atmosphere, good food and attentive staff. So the Lounge Bar is waiting for you.”

The bar also stocks Voices Newspapers on Saturdays so you are always up-to-date with the latest news. The Lounge Bar is open 8.30am till late, seven days a week.
