DIDIM Glee Club has just finished a run of “Murder is Served” – a tale of comedy and intrigue set in a restaurant where the surprise birthday party of an old harridan takes place.

During the course of the evening someone gets murdered and it was down to the audience to guess who committed the dastardly deed!

This play took place over the course of three nights, all of which were sold out. Two nights were held to raise funds for Helping Hands and another for AKUT, the search and rescue organisation.

So a big thank you to those that bought tickets for these worthy causes and hope you enjoyed the shows as much as we did performing them.

Didim Glee Club is continuing throughout June with drama workshops put together by our director Lee Mcgowan. These are fun sessions aimed at improving our acting skills!!

We will be breaking up for a well deserved summer break Thursday June 30 before we resume on September 15 with the start of rehearsals for this year’s pantomime, Aladdin. Oh yes we will!!

Anyone who would like to attend the drama workshops or to just come along and see what we do would be made very welcome. These will be held upstairs at Sobe Bar on Ataturk Boulevard every Thursday at noon.
