Update

THE yearly Didim Darts Knockout Tournament for the Mick Griffiths Trophy took place at Leon’s U2 Bar.

There was a good turnout of players from the Didim darts league 2015/2016 season.

A total of 15 men, 11 women and 30 players in the doubles competed in the categories overall. After a lot of close games, the last men and women were standing for the finals.

John Hunter and Hugh O’Boyle took the doubles title after a close contest with Necip Surer and Paul Whittle.

Sue Fuller then took the ladies trophy after trailing to Julie Collings, while Stephen Watson took the men’s singles trophy after being behind to Martin Gibson for most of the match.

A great day was had by all and a big thank you to everyone who gave up their time to support this annual event.
