Alleged ‘credit card fraud ring’ busted in Didim

A RING of credit card fraud suspects that allegedly netted 200,000TL have been arrested following an investigation in Didim.

Didim District Jandarma teams arrested seven suspects from four different districts across Turkey as part of their long-running investigation.

One person was detained in Didim, three in Denizli, one in Bursa and two in Kayseri. One person remains at large.

Jandarma launched the investigation after monitoring members of the network who were allegedly involved in credit card fraud.

It was learned that the network had accrued around 200,000TL through the fraud through obtaining counterfeit credit card accounts vis the Internet.

The suspects were brought to Didim for questioning and detained, while the investigation continues.
