Drug smugglers caught landing 131kgs of skunk in Didim

NINE people are in custody after police seized 131 kilogrammes of drugs being brought in by boat into Didim.

According to a statement made by Aydin, the Coast Guard Command received information that some suspects were engaged in drug trafficking by sea and would land the drug in Didim.

The teams that were in contact with the General Directorate of Security, found the suspect’s boat in Didim waters.

Following a joint operation by the security forces and the Coast Guard Command, nine people were arrested and drugs recovered.

The investigation by Didim District Police Department continues.
