DIDIM has received an award for its annual Vegan Festival.

One of the Local Governors Awards, organized by Turkey’s Social Democrat Municipalities Association (SODEM), was awarded to Mayor Deniz Atabay by CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

Held at Zubeyde Hanim Social Facility of Çankaya Municipality, the award was among several handed out in categories including agriculture, arts, culture, social projects, history, democratic participation and governance, among others
