‘Prostitution ring’ smashed in Didim

THIRTY-SIX women, including 23 foreign nationals, have been detained in one of the biggest police raids against prostitution in Didim.

Police carried six simultaneous raids on 12 separate addresses, including two hotels, and private residences.

Some of the suspects detained as part of the police inquiry

36 women, including 23 foreign and 13 Turkish, were detained as part of the widescale inquiry.

A total of 12 suspects were originally detained on suspicion of being involved or procuring prostitution.

Nine were later arrested and sent to prison, while three were released by the judicial authorities.
