New restaurant Atapark opens in Akbuk

SERVICE quality is being guaranteed at a new restaurant called Atapark.

The venue, which is located on the old venue called Adapark, close to the Kumkent Sitesi, in Akbuk is owned by three people –  Barış Özden, İlhami Turan and Hüseyin Özkan.

Hüseyin previously ran the Balıkçı Ustam fish venue in Didim, while Barış hails from Denizli as a master steak chef and İlhami is noted for having served the tourism sector for several years, having retired from the from Conrad Istanbul, which is part of the Hilton Group, where he worked for 23 years.

İlhami  said: “I was involved in the food, beverage and service sectors, I have also provided VIP services to the upper segment customer profile. I have given VIP Management services to very important names, including famous artists, presidents and politicians.”

After his retirement, he was invited to work with Barış in Denizli Sabanoğlu for 2 years. Later, he worked as a business manager at Günaydın Steakhouse in Dubai.

“In all these processes, we continued our ongoing consultations with Hüseyin about a project that we will create. We already had a partnership with Barış. So we came together by unity. Atapark is the investment of three labourers and three Masters.”

Barış added: “I have served in every concept successfully in the kitchen. I must have been successful in meat, fish, vegetables and bakery products, and I have always taken more responsibility. I took very serious responsibilities in all the businesses I serve.

“We are masters and operators of Atapark. The source of this work is the kitchen, the power is in the kitchen. The kitchen is a must. Businesses working in coordination with the kitchen and service department can be successful. We have created this coordination.”

Hüseyin added: “Atapark will stand for quality.” With their combined experience, they bring 80 years knowledge and knowhow to the table in setting up the restaurant.

The restaurant caters to a broad menu to cater to diners from families to couples. They include traditional breakfast, with the normal meat and fish dishes. They also serve beverages, such as wine and raki.

The owners were keen to impress upon the venue’s location where people can enjoy their meals in quiet areas. At night, they offer live music and special entertainment programmes.

İlhami commented: “In other words, the day that started with pleasure will end with pleasure at Atapark. No matter how the day starts, Atapark will end with pleasure. Our service and flavours are special to us.”

They have also made special jams from fruits and vegetables grown in the region. They even make their own bread.
