DIDIM Darts Club have played host to a number of students from the town hoping to boost their language skills.

Didim Dart Spor Kulubu, which is run by members of the expat community, was the location for the meet up with students from the ATA language academy.

Ron Brown, who helped create the club, said the language academy was taking different age groups of Turkish students to visit the club to integrate with their English members, practice vocabulary.

They will also learn about the club’s games, including darts, which also is a good mathematics practice.

He added: “We are also actively trying to get young Turkish dart players to form a Didim youth team to enter nationwide competitions.”
