Breaking News: Turkey to ban all flights to Britain: Health Minister

All flights to the Britain and Ireland will be banned from 8am tomorrow (Tues Mar 17), Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has just announced.

He said that flights will be banned to Britain, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates.

Turkey ‘s flight ban imposed announced that the number of countries rises to 20.

The ban follows on from previous flight suspensions to Chine, Iran, Iraq. Italy, South Koream Georgia, Germany, Spain, France, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands and Azerbaijan.

He made a statement about the current situation in Turkey after a Coronavirus Scientific Committee meeting.

Minister Koca stated that they will increase the number of coronavirus-related laboratories to 16, and will deliver the kit with rapid results to all provinces. 

Minister Koca stated that there is no loss of life so far because of the coronavirus, “This does not mean that it will not happen. Because we have patients with respiratory distress.” he spoke. 

Koca continued as follows: “These days will not continue like this, we will soon return to our normal lives.”
