Didim’s plogging group is back after the summer break and have revealed their first October meets at a monthly meeting

For this month plogging will be Thursday mornings. We meet at 10.30 at Burgerking for plogging at 11.00.

Here is the programme (2022):

October 13: Sedef Koy

October 20: Saplı Ada, Fevzipaşa (opp Maxeria Hotel)

October 27: Manastır Beach

We will liaise with the Belediye about the Saplı Ada Plog so the date for this may change. While there was a planned Sunshine boat plog on October 8, the group is planning on joining Halloween celebrations at Ozzy’s Bar on October 31.

The next meeting will be at Ozzy’s Bar on November 5. Thanks again for your contributions.

In their latest plog, five members went to a rather breezy Yesilkent Beach on Thursday morning. They concentrated on the grassy area at the top of the beach. There’s so much picnic rubbish blowing about up there, it would take an army to clear it, but they filled four bags of rubbish that won’t now end up in the Aegean.
