Didim Street Animals Protection Association (CoDA) recently organized a heartwarming event that brought together 45 animal enthusiasts for an afternoon of community support.

Supporting the Cause

CoDA delighted its guests with a delectable menu of tuna, cheese, and egg mayo sandwiches, along with sausage rolls, quiche, cheese scones, scones with cream and jam, ginger cake, and Victoria sponge. Attendees were unanimously pleased with the delicious offerings.

The event’s highlight was a captivating fashion show, where CoDA demonstrated its ability to raise funds effectively.

The event was a grand success, resulting in a remarkable fundraising achievement of 20,000 Turkish Lira.

Funding Critical Projects

The funds raised from the event will be directed toward vital projects. Specifically, these resources will support the creation of 17 fixed beds in the H Block, constructed with thermal concrete, as part of a larger four-phase initiative.

Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be allocated to aid street feeders during the challenging winter months.

Power of Community

CoDA expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of the community, particularly the exceptional ladies from the Friends of CoDA chat group.

Their steadfast support was instrumental in making this heartwarming event possible.

Upcoming Initiatives

Looking ahead, CoDA is excited to announce its next event, the CoDA Christmas Fayre, scheduled for Sunday, November 26th, at THE BEACH BAR on the Altinkum seafront, taking place from 12:00 to 16:00.

In a significant development, CoDA has secured a rent-free space at 06 Döner, located near Dolphin Square and the taxi rank.

This space will serve as a store and charity shop for CoDA. The organization plans to open its doors shortly, further expanding its efforts to support and protect animals in need.

The success of this event is a testament to the power of community support in furthering the mission of animal welfare.
