A Turkish folk music concert in Didim was part of a Culture and Art Activities programme organized by Didim Municipality

Featuring the Didim Folk Song Group, the concert was attended by Didim Mayor A. Deniz Atabay, Republican People’s Party Didim District Chairman Ahmet Yılmaz, Deputy Mayor Yusuf Deveci, Municipal Council members, and citizens. The event took place at Didim Municipality Youth Center & DİGEM Art Academy.

Under the direction of Selahattin Aygün, choir members presented a repertoire of unique and unforgettable folk music pieces. The concert garnered significant participation from the citizens of Didim, concluding with Mayor A. Deniz Atabay presenting flowers to Aygün.

Mayor A. Deniz Atabay expressed his joy about the event on social media, stating, “Together, we experienced the beauty of Turkish Folk Music at the Didim Folk Song Group’s ‘Voices from Homeland’ Concert. It was a pleasure to witness the love for music among everyone who joined us at the Didim Municipality Youth Center and DİGEM Art Academy.”
