In recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25th, various activities were set to take place in Didim, organized by women’s associations.

The Didim Women’s Platform convened at the old courthouse at 14:00 on Saturday, November 25, where a march was initiated, leading to a gathering in front of Ziraat Bank. A press statement was scheduled to be delivered at this location.

Following this, at 16:30, the Kibele Women’s Association assembled in front of İş Bank and led a march towards the city square. A press statement highlighting the significance of this day was presented at Didim City Square.

These initiatives aimed to raise awareness and stand in solidarity against all forms of violence faced by women in our community. All were invited to join and show support for this important cause.
