At the 13th International Resort Tourism Congress held at the Nest Congress Center in Antalya Belek, industry experts evaluated the outcomes of 2023 and shared their forecasts for 2024 through a survey conducted using the Keyport system.

According to the participants, 2023 exceeded their initial expectations, leading them to anticipate a similarly positive trajectory for the upcoming year, 2024.

When asked about the most significant risk for 2024, 42 percent of respondents highlighted inflation, which was also identified as the primary concern in 2023.

The survey respondents expressed their expectations for growth not only in the domestic market but also in the European and CIS markets for the year 2024.

In summary, professionals surveyed at the congress expressed contentment with 2023’s performance, while remaining cautiously optimistic about 2024, citing inflation as a prominent concern.

They anticipate potential growth across various markets in the upcoming year.
