According to the Coast Guard Command’s website, teams were dispatched on information there was a group of irregular immigrants off the coast of Bodrum.

Teams rescued 30 immigrants on a rubber boat that was pushed into Turkish territorial waters by Greek elements.

Off the coast of Bodrum, the Coast Guard’s mobile radar also detected two irregular immigrant groups trying to cross the country illegally by rubber boat at different times.

63 foreign nationals were caught in two stopped rubber boats. The immigrants were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
