The dog that fell into the sea in Bodrum was rescued by quick-thinking municipal teams.

On notice that a dog had fallen into the sea in Torba District, Bodrum Municipality Veterinary Affairs Directorate moved to the area. The teams reached the area where there was no road after a walk of approximately 3 kilometres.

The dog was taken out of the sea and taken to Bodrum Municipality Temporary Care Center for Stray Animals.

Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras told journalists that the municipality continues its sensitivity towards dear friends. Stating that the teams acted selflessly and saved the dog despite the difficult conditions, Aras said, “The sensitive reports of our citizens helped us save the life of our dear friend.”
