A tourist group coming from England to Muğla’s Dalaman district was welcomed with flowers.

A welcoming ceremony was organised for the first tourist group of the season arriving at YDA Dalaman Airport from England. The 189 passengers getting off the plane were welcomed with roses by the airport authorities.

The tourists, who were offered various treats, went to the hotels where they will stay after their procedures.

YDA Dalaman Airport Senior Manager Yiğit Laçin told journalists that the first charter flight of the season from the UK to Muğla was made to Dalaman Airport.

Stating that YDA Dalaman Airport has an important place in the UK market, Laçin said: “We welcomed the first flight from Manchester to Turkey with 189 passengers.”

Explaining that their biggest goal is to ensure the continuity of flights for 12 months by opening the season earlier every year, Laçin said that they have organised the waiting areas at the passport control points to increase the comfort of passengers and took steps to speed up the processes.

Expressing their satisfaction with the early start of the season, British tourists stated that they preferred Marmaris and Fethiye the most in the Dalaman region and thanked the airport authorities for the welcome.
