Visiting Didim’s Temple of Apollo, Miletus and Priene for non-Turkish citizens will become more expensive after museum and archaeological entry prices for 2027 were revealed.
The new tariffs announced by the Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB) cover the fees that will be applied next year at museums and archaeological sites under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Aydın’s historical treasures include Aphrodisias Museum and Archaeological Site, Aydın Archaeology Museum, Miletus Museum and Archaeological Site, Apollo Temple, Priene, Magnesia, Nysa, Alabanda and Alinda Archaeological Sites.
The new regulation announced by TÜRSAB does not only consist of standard entry tickets.
For the year 2027, the combined list of ticket prices, museum and archaeological site combination tickets, MuseumPass rates for foreign visitors, and Electronic Guide System (ERS) fees were published as separate lists.
It was reported that the new fees were updated in accordance with the Board of Directors’ decisions on August 27 and September 4, 2026.
The new site entrance fees in Aydın in 2027 for non-Turkish citizens are:

Aphrodisias Museum and Archaeological Site: €13

For those looking to buy a MuseumKart, then the Ege (Aegean Card), which covers sites in Izmir, Aydin, Mugla and Denizli, will cost € 105. The Museum Card can be purchased from authorized Museum Card sales points of the Ministry.

Visits decline at Aydin sites
Museums and archaeological sites around Aydin province experienced a 4% drop in visitors in 2025. A total of 428,685 people visited sites, including 318,373 paying visitors and 110,312 free visitors. A total of 48,092 Museum Cards were sold in 2025.
According to Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data, Aydın has a total of 14 museums: 6 affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and 8 with private status. The city also has 9 archaeological sites under the Ministry’s jurisdiction.
