Didim Children’s Academy gets environment booster

THE Didim Children’s Academy has become the first in the resort to be awarded by TEMNA, the Turkish Foundation for the Protection of Erosion and the Protection of Natural Assets.

The academy’s young members have been endorsed as a member of the environmental-based organization.

Eda Demir, the founding manager of the academy, took the ceremony with the message: “The employees of this institution have become TEMA volunteers. This school has students that have also become TEMA volunteers.”

The students at the ceremony were given their TEMA volunteer card and TEMA badge.

Mehmet Ozdemir, Aydin Provincial Representative of TEMA Foundation and Salih Bozkurt,

Didim District Responsible, and foundation authorities participated in the ceremony.

They told the children more about being a TEMA volunteer and they should keep the environment clean and protect nature in their daily lives.

Demir said the children had adopted their slogan as ‘Love Nature’ and to help improve the environment.
