A total of 37 undocumented migrants were detained off the Bodrum coast, while 34 were rescued in incidents at the weekend.

According to Coast Guard Command, upon the information that there was a group of irregular migrants on a rubber boat off the coast of Bodrum, a coast guard boat was directed to the area.

The teams found and detained 37 people, including three children.

Another coast guard boat was dispatched to deal with a boat drifting due to engine failure off the coast of Bodrum and requested assistance. The teams rescued 34 people, including five children.

The migrants were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for processing.
