Three suspects were detained in Bodrum district for alleged migrant smuggling.

District Gendarmerie Command, Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Teams (JASAT) started a study upon a report that some suspects working in construction in the district were smuggling migrants.

With the technical and physical follow-up carried out by the teams, it was determined that the suspects first transported about 20 migrants to a hotel and then to a boat on Türkbükü coast.

Ü.D, İ.Ş. and M.E, who were caught red-handed by the gendarmerie teams, were arrested by the judge at the courthouse where they were brought after their health checks.

During the transfer of the suspects to the courthouse, their relatives reacted to the press members trying to take pictures.
